Began singing country music in 1993, he struck
immediate gold winning runner up overall at the 1993 Hutt Valley Country
music awards and from there has never lreally looked back. Winner of 6
overalls and four runner up overalls Trevor was also finalist in the 1993
Smoke Free Artist of the year (Arrowtown), finalist in the 1994 New Zealand
Country Music Entertainer of the year (Palmeston North) and runner up at
the 1996 Entertainer of the year as part of the outstanding vocal group
'Men n Black'
with good friends - Kenny Teo, Laurie the Truck!
Trevor and his wife Helen have recently returned to NZ from Australia where they have been working in the Queensland hotel industry. While there Trevor won Senior Male, Senior Gospel at the Gold Coast
Country Music festival in 2003. With one of the biggest voices in Country Music
and a love of the more modern up tempo material Trevor is now resident in
Auckland and looking for opportunities to continue his singing career in
New Zealand.
