Nancy Muller
"Weaving and Fairytales"
Nancy has always loved music. She had an early introduction to it
through her grandmother and mother, inheriting their love of music.
It wasn't until later in life, she joined her first country music club
in Waitara, Taranaki, and a few weeks later sang in her first show at the
Eltham Town Hall to a packed house.
Nancy entered a talent quest and won. Part of the prize was to make a
recording at what used to be the 2ZB radio station in New Plymouth. The
first ever person to make a recording in that studio.
Shortly after, she gave up music to concentrate on her family and
farming life, taking it up again 15 years later when her family had
grown up and left home.
Nancy is a seasoned performer now having done many shows around the
North Island, and she has shared the stage with some of New Zealands top
country music entertainers.
She has also been invited to be a guest artist at Country Music clubs in
Australia, which is something Nancy looks forward to doing in the near future.
Nancy has a CD available, 'Fairytale', with another in the planning
stages and looks forward to a very full life in country music.
