Nordheim started out his musical career way back as a thirteen year old kid as he performed from stage for the first time, doing his first self composed song ever. 15 years old he started out as a drummer in a “Shaddowsband” called “the Quinters”. Later on playing base, keyboard and guitar in various settings.

Nordheim was one of the initiators of “New Express”, a band that toured Norway for several years. New Express was the starting point for Country Express, Trio Express and Duo Express. All of them bands that Nordheim fronted. He has performed musical collaboration with Liv Marit Wedvik and he has done stages with artist`s like Arly Karlsen, Hugo Risan, Roy Martin, Heidi Hauge, Bjøro Håland, Kjell “Elvis” and so on…

Throughout his career he has had a pounding heart for country music, finding broad inspiration listening to artist`s like Jim Reeves, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks and so on.. The last six years he has been traveling around Norway with his One Man Bans consept except for a short period of time when he traveled with his backing band, Dusty Rose Band from Oslo. In august 2005 they attended at Nord Hordaland Countryfestival as one of the main attractions along with Andrea Rice from Ireland...
